To begin with, an enchanting evening for the DARK SKIES at LONE MOUNTAIN HIGHLIGHTS. Here, it was held on Saturday evening, June 20, 2026.
DARK SKIES at LONE MOUNTAIN Highlights Concert
The event was held at our local community park, Lone Mountain Regional Park, located at 9825 W Lone Mountain Rd., Las Vegas, NV.
We were entertained by a LIVE string ensemble by candlelight. Note: Commissioner April Becker was notified that, due to circumstances beyond the county’s control, the candles were replaced with battery lanterns. 
That did not take away from the performance.
The Performance
The String ensemble was great. During the performance, many could identify some songs. Listen for yourself in the video.

Refreshments were served, but didn’t last long. Many brought their own snacks and refreshments.

Here, community events, activities, and things to do are posted regularly. Events like these occur several times a year and include concerts, the Paw Parade, movies in the park, Pickleball tournaments, and many others.
